Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother working and going to the rehearsals for her plays. Silk was featured in many commercials when she was an infant. She received a Bachelor's of Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999, and during the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. Following their engagement in 2008, they married in 2009. After she had converted to Judaism the couple renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born the 13th of May, 2016. Silk has played a range of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for this role. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that the production was set to begin on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in a large online audience on social media.
